- [Nick] Hi, welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Nick, and Jeff's not here this week. We're gonna talk about the edits not taken. Three editing techniques that you can use inside of Final Cut to add to your workflow. I find that as a video editor gets more familiar with the application, they can get a lot quicker by knowing just different ways about bringing in content to the timelines as well as just trimming it. So some of the features that we're gonna cover are: trim to selection, back timing our edits from the browser, and looking at the precision editor, a great way of performing ripple edits and roll edits, that I don't think a lot of people use in Final Cut, and some really handy tricks to get more out of it. Let's hop inside of Final Cut and take a look at these features.
