In Apple Final Cut Pro X, the stylistic effects and blend modes offers you a ton of options to stylize your clips for creative looks. In this video, join Nick Harauz as he takes a look at the style category and beyond to discover a few gems available in the effects browser of Final Cut Pro X.
- [Instructor] So I'm here in my Final Cut Pro…Chapter 5.10 project that you can find…in your Chapter 5 folder.…We're going to apply some stylistic effects to this clip.…But before we do, just to have different types of mix…or looks and play around with this,…what we're going to do is duplicate…the clip inside our timeline.…One way that we can do that is if you Option-click the clip,…once selecting it, release your mouse…followed by the Option key.…And making sure that when you drag it up…that you don't have the clip go off in each direction…by a couple frames.…We're good to go.…We've got a duplicate clip on top of itself.…So, I'm just going to move my playhead…kind of in the middle here.…
Let's go to the Looks category.…And here in the Looks category,…what I'd like to do is apply a Combat type look.…Just for this particular video image.…And I'm skimming over it just to get a sense for it.…And just to remind you, if you hold down the Option key,…you can see the various different mix values…if you play around with various parameters…
