Working with master clip effects in Premiere Pro

- In this movie, we're going to take a look at how to apply effects to master clips. As of this recording, this is a pretty recent addition to the Premiere Pro repertoire, and it's been something that's been requested for years. So let me show you exactly how this works. Now, notice that I've got a sequence loaded here and, if I click on any of these clips and then head over to my Effect Controls panel, we got several built-in effects for our sequence clips. We've got my motion effects, I've got my opacity and my time remapping, okay? And then, of course, if I want to apply additional effects, I have them all within my Effects panel, and I can apply as many as I want. That's for sequence clips. Notice, however, when I load a source clip ... I'll load the same exact clip, but just as a master clip ... and I head to the Effect Controls panel, it's empty.
