- In this movie, we're going to take a look…at how to apply effects to master clips.…As of this recording, this is a pretty recent addition…to the Premiere Pro repertoire,…and it's been something that's been requested for years.…So let me show you exactly how this works.…Now, notice that I've got a sequence loaded here…and, if I click on any of these clips…and then head over to my Effect Controls panel,…we got several built-in effects for our sequence clips.…We've got my motion effects,…I've got my opacity and my time remapping, okay?…And then, of course, if I want to apply additional effects,…I have them all within my Effects panel,…and I can apply as many as I want.…
That's for sequence clips.…Notice, however, when I load a source clip ...…I'll load the same exact clip, but just as a master clip ...…and I head to the Effect Controls panel, it's empty.…There's no effects applied at all, no built-in effects.…But the cool thing is, now you can add effects,…both video and audio, to your master clips.…So let's do this.…
