Working with layered Photoshop files

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take a look at bringing in a layered Photoshop file inside of Final Cut Pro 10. So there is no project for this movie. We're going to head up to our Final Cut Pro essential training library and create a new event. We can head to file new event to do so. We're going to create one called Logos and Graphics, just so that we keep any images for our graphic treatments in one folder. I'll choose okay, and in this new event, let's choose to import some media. If you have access to the Final Cut Pro Ten essential exercise files, head to the assets folder, and we're going to go into the logo files folder. First of all let's choose the Soul Leap high res logo, and the indicator that you're going to have access to your layers from photo shop is this little badge right here, on the top left-hand corner, of the still.
