- Maybe you're looking to muffle someone's voice to sound like it's coming from a phone or distort it in the form echos for a dream sequence. Final Cut Pro X has a series of affects to help you accomplish this. Some I'm here in Chapter 7.7, my project is open. I found that under the chapter seven folder that's included in your Final Cut library if you have a premium membership. So here I have this clip of this acoustic guitarist. We're going to play around with some echos, some echos distortion. We can go to the echo category audio Effects. And if you're not seeing this effects browser simply just press Command + 5, or click on this icon and head down to the audio section. And here, under the Echo category, I draw your attention first of all to the Final Cut audio effects. Now one thing that I haven't talked about is that you'll see that they are certain effects from Final Cut, certain effects from Logic and even from the Mac OS that are included in this categories.
