Working with custom 3D for animation
- While several different 3D text templates have basic animation controls, custom 3D text offers the largest amount of options. Let's begin to work with some custom 3D text. And we're going to compare this with the custom 2D text we looked at in the last chapter. So just like 2D text, we can save our basic format and stylistic attributes to easily select them later on if we want to apply them to our 3D text. So how do we do that and where can we even access other presets? I'm here in my chapter 2.7 project. I'm going to select my text that's located in the timeline. And I'm going to head over to the text inspector. At the very top of the text inspector is a menu that shows me all the different 3D styles or some of the basic attributes that I might have saved for text within my project. Some of these happen to be 2D styles. But you'll see that there is a category specifically available for 3D styles.
