Working with color masks

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to limit the selection of an effect to a color mask. And this could be done on effects as well as when we're making color adjustments within the inspector. I'm here in my Chapter11_8 project, and what I'm going to do is bring up the effects browser. I've already done an initial search here for the word cross until all of my video effects. I want to take the crosshatch effect that I find here at the top and drag it on to the clip in my timeline. Once I do, I'll close down my effects browser. What I want to do is isolate this crosshatch effect to just the trees as well as the grass. In order to perform this if I hover over to the right of the effect while over it, I'll see here a little tool tip that'll appear when I'm over this icon, saying that I can apply a shape or color mask.
