- [Narrator] In this movie, we're going to look at using audio roles in order to help us with our final audio mix. So in many cases, an audio project or project and final cut can exist of several types of sound. We could have interviews or dialogue, we'll have music, and we'll even have sound effects. And we'll have each of these types of sounds playing at various levels depending on a given scene. At the end, sometimes you might want to do a little bit of tweaking where we'll bring down just the music just a little bit or all the music sources that we use throughout our piece, or maybe we just want to bring down the dialogue just a little bit or raise it a bit across the entire board. And this is where the power of roles come in. And I want to show this again, there is a timeline index that we can use for organization that we've seen in an earlier chapter.
