- [Instructor] So the first thing you should know before watching this course is that I assume that you have a general knowledge of video editing, and have probably spent a little bit of time inside of Final Cut Pro. The next thing you need to know is what version of Final Cut Pro you're running. This library is set up for Final Cut Pro 10.4, and you can find out what version of Final Cut Pro you're running by going to the Final Cut Pro menu and choosing About Final Cut Pro. For any reason that your application is not up to date, you could head to the App Store in order to update to the latest version of Final Cut Pro. For any reason, if you're not allowed to do that, simply download the latest version of the OS, which Final Cut Pro is meant to work with.
