What is a library and where is the browser?

[Instructor] So probably the biggest question as you start Final Cut X, is what is this whole library thing anyway? I'm starting here with populated library, and this is to help you get acclimated. I'm going to for the moment here, close up my inspector, and I'm going to hide my timeline, because I just want to take a little bit deeper look at my library here. I'm going to make my viewer a bit smaller. I have a library which I'm going to select, and this library right now is showing you all the material in my project. It's broken down into a number of events, such as this Ojai Olives. When I roll this open, I've got a number of keywords here, and this is part of the magic of Final Cut X. This is every single piece of footage in the project for the moment. But if I click on B-Roll, I'm just seeing those pieces of B-Roll, or say Hilltop. And this gives me a quick way of being able to dial down to exactly what I want based on selections. Instead of bins, these keywords. The other events…
