Another question you might ask yourself when you open up the Final Cut Pro X interface is where you can find the viewer. Do you actually need the viewer to play back clips? In this video, walk through how to best play your clips back for review in Final Cut Pro X.
- Sometimes you want to be able to view your raw clips,…the event clips, along with your project.…Let's explore the event viewer.…I'm going to hit a command 0 to reset the final cuts interface.…It's also found here under workspaces.…And I'm going to close up my smart collections, my Ojai Olives.…I'm just going to look at my Tahoe footage.…Let's just look at the actual footage itself here.…Let's say day footage.…And you can see I can scrub through that footage.…Let's hide my inspector, command four.…
I have the ability to show an event viewer.…Show in workspace, event viewer.…And now this is my timeline down here.…And these are my sources up here.…You don't need this but if you prefer,…putting my play head over here,…if you prefer sort of a source record relationship…this event viewer is what you're looking for.…I find it to be a little hard to use on small screens…but I think it's a powerful and important thing…to know that it's there.…I'm going to go ahead here and turn that back off.…
Just to give me a little bit more real estate.…
