- Hi, my name is Nick Harauz. I'm a professional video editor and motion graphic designer. Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Guru working with motion graphics in motion and After Effects. Have you see the video editor job ads lately? It's really hard to see a position open for video editors that solely looks for just a video editor. Chances are a general understanding of motion graphics will be required along with feeling comfortable navigating through the various motion graphic applications. This course is designed to do just that. How Final Cut Pro X video editors get a better grasp on working with motion graphics natively and in both motion and After Effects. Throughout this course we'll compare each applications motion graphic workflow and look in depth at motion and After Effects interchange with Final Cut Pro X. Along the way, we'll breeze over a few core motion graphic fundamentals so that you’ll be better able to work with and build motion graphic animations that stand out from the competition.
