Using speed presets
- [Instructor] One of my favorite features in Final Cut Pro X is how easy it is to work with speed by using speed presets. So I'm here in my Chapter 6 underscore 6 project. You can find this in the Chapter 6 Keyword Collection under your Projects events. And what we're going to do is play around with some of the presets available from the retiming options. So here I am over a 7C shot in the timeline. I'm just going to press the question mark key to play it back. And where the owner of the chocolate shop lifts up his hand, I want to actually create a freeze frame. So I'm here at 12 seconds and six frames in my timeline. I'm going to press Command + Equals to zoom in the shot. Once I do, I am going to go to my retiming options. And see here that there's an option to create a Hold frame. So I'm just going to click on that. And you'll see what it's done, is create three sections for your clip. Here is the clip playing at normal, or regular speed.
