From the course: Migrating from Final Cut Pro 7 to Final Cut Pro X

Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] A couple a notes about the class material. Everything in here, everything single library is linked to this Footage folder, and the Footage folder has all the individual clips that you might need for any individual library for an individual lesson. Many of the chapters, say three or four or five, they're all cumulative, so if you follow them along, you're able to just continue without having to open up a different library. Chapter two's information isn't included, and while I have it here, it's not important. It has to do with importing, and you'll just sit back, and you'll follow your own steps for importing. Section four on teaches from a more fleshed out project, meaning that I've got specific examples I can teach from. And one last thing to see here. In case any of the material you run into is offline, you can go up to the File menu and you can choose the Relink Files option. And from here, all you need to do is say locate anything that's missing. Once you locate the first one, Final Cut'll do a really great job of relinking everything. I'm going to go ahead here, Relink All. I'm going to say Locate, and all I need to do is locate one of those files. And you can see, I haven't even selected. I just hit this directory, and Final Cut X has said, Click Choose to verify matches, and it's found all the files, and I'll say Choose, and everything links up. It shows you once you've done that from above to below, the files that were matched. You say Relink, and you're done.
