Using the exercise files

- If you are a Lynda member, who has access to the download files, you'll be sent a Final Cut Pro library, as well as additional content, that will import into Final Cut Pro X. These downloads can be stored on your desktop, your documents folder, or externally on a hard-drive. To open the library simply double-click it. Or alternatively, in Final Cut Pro, go to File, Open Library, Other, and navigate to where you saved it. When you open the library, you'll see it consists of two events; one containing the project files we will be working with, on and in various chapters, and the other access we will be working with to organize, before we bring into our projects. If your lynda.com membership doesn't allow you access to the lesson files, don't worry, there's still a ton to learn, even by following along, with your own footage, or a trial version of Final Cut Pro X.
