- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. This is Jeff, Nick's not here. We're going to talk about using auditions in a way that might be just a little bit out-of-the-box thinking. We're going to use them specifically with color corrections. Our base idea here is we're going to create an audition with a duplicate of the existing shot. We're going to do incremental changes and we're going to have this easy, easy comparison to the originals. Let's take a look how. So when I'm working on a shot, I might go ahead and do some color correction. I'm going to hide here my browser. I'm going to bring up my inspector and specifically bring it over to the color page. I'm using the luma curves and just so you can see I have them set to a single curve here. I'm just going to click on her face a little, get that shadow point, get the highlight of her face. I'm just going to stretch that out a little bit, giving me a little bit more flexibility with what we do. And I know my client's going to come…
