Using Motion color looks in FCP X

- [Nick] Hi, welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Nick, and Jeff's not here this week. We're going to take a look at using motion color looks inside of Final Cut Pro X. Motion color looks are new to the latest release of Motion which happened in mid December 2017, and they're based on the principles of LUTs or look up tables. You can essentially apply a color stylistic effect similar to how you would do something in Instagram or using various photo software. Can apply it to clips or photos inside of motion and then play around with a mix value. So we're going to take a look at what that is. We're going to create what's called the Final Cut Pro Effect projects so that we can actually save this look to be used inside of Final Cut Pro. And then we're going to take a look at how we can play around with it inside of Final Cut Pro when it works properly. Let's hop into Motion and see how this all works.
