Using the Mac help menu and Final Cut Pro Command Editor to help you learn shortcuts

- The Mac OS and Final Cut Pro X are there to help you when it comes to remembering keyboard shortcuts. Let's take a look at a few handy features available that will get us up and running in preforming various tasks and operations in Final Cut. Now, there are two great helpers right within Final Cut Pro X. And the first thing is by the Help menu. If I click on the Help menu, I'm able to perform searches to discover various operations within Final Cut Pro. So here, under Search, I'm just going to type in the word select. And you'll see under the menu items, a series of selections become available. So if I select Select All, it points me to the Edit menu, Select All right here where I can see that it's mapped to the keyboard shortcut command + A. There is no PC equivalent because we are running Final Cut Pro only on a Mac.
