Understanding the four main Mac modifier keys

- There are four main modifier keys in your Mac, in conjunction with a letter or number, that allow you to perform various operations and edits in Final Cut Pro X. Let's take a look at how these modifier keys look from one of the drop-down menus. So I'm here in Final Cut Pro X, and the first menu that I'd like to take a look at to see these modifier keys, is going to be the Edit menu. So I'm going to click on the Edit menu in order to select it, and as we work our way down we're going to be introduced to our first modifier key, which in this case is command. You can see this little bracket right here next to the A, and command A, as we saw, allows us to Select All within our projects. The next modifier key I'm going to bring up is the shift key. So, you can see that shift command A next to Deselect All will perform a deselection of all of your clips within Final Cut Pro. Now there are two main, more modifier keys that I'm going to go over.
