Toggling snapping, skimming, and soloing

- Final Cut Pro 10 allows us the ability to snap, skim, and solo clips in the timeline by pressing buttons in the top right corner. This could also all be done with keyboard shortcuts. Let's get a sense for what each option is, and then work with it using these shortcuts. So, I'm here in my 5.10 Keyword Collection with my project double clicked and ready to go. And, I'll just show you here on the top right hand corner of the timeline is your audio skimming, video skimming, soloing, and snapping capabilities. Let me just turn on snapping first of all to show you what it does. That can be triggered with the "n" key. So I'll just press "n" right now. And if I drag my playhead, the great part is is it actually snaps. Right? Over the edit points of clips. I'll turn "n" off for a second, just to show you that that same snapping doesn't occur. I don't actually see a little yellow highlight that occurs when I go over. But the minute that I turn on "n" for snapping, you can see that it will…
