The Timeline Index
- While the last few movies in this chapter have given us an overview of how we can efficiently and effectively work with clips in our Timeline and Event Browser there's also a window I'd like to mention that assists you with navigating through footage specifically in the Timeline. It's called the Timeline Index, let's take a look. I'm in that project I worked with in the last lesson, I'm in 4.8 Keyword Collection with my INTENTION project that I've double clicked to reveal in my Timeline. It has those four markers we created in the previous exercises. And one great thing about these markers just as well as clips is that we can actually move through them in an Index view. Now the Timeline Index is available to you on the bottom left hand corner. You can see the Show or hide Timeline Index here. We can also access it with a shortcut key, and notice where that shortcut is. From our Window menu you can see I can hide my Timeline Index right now with the Shift-Command-2. So if I just do…
