Slipping, sliding, and nudging clips on the timeline

- [Instructor] The other common trimming tools that people look for are slip and slide. Let's see how Final Cut handles these. To show you some of the nuances of moving around clips on the timeline I'm going to take my Tahoe montage and duplicate it. Now I'm going to take that duplicate and I'm going to call this moving clips. And I'm going to double-click to open it up. So here I've got a little montage on my timeline. And here on the speed jump, as a I jump through it, I really want to see a little more earlier in this clip. So I'm going to zoom in, z to zoom. And I'm going to zoom in on that section. A back for my arrow. I'm going to click here to move my play head here. The trim tool, T for trim, allows me to click in the clip. And when I click on the clip, it let's me slip the clip. If I hold down the option key you can see the change there. And now I'm sliding the clip on the timeline. These work with the keys of course. Let's make these frames a little bit more visual. I'll…
