Skimming and previewing effects

- Final Cut Pro X ships with hundreds of effects you can add from the Effects browser. On top of this, there are several third-party developers who make hundreds and hundreds more. Apple has a few great pages on their site, available from the Resources section, describing this extensive ecosystem. In this movie, we'll see where we can find all of our effects, and how we can preview them even before applying them to a clip. So I'm here in my Chapter 5.1 project. You can find that in the Chapter 5 folder. And it's located in the Projects event in the Final Cut library that you might have, if you have a Premium subscription. And we're going to talk about adding effects and previewing those effects in the next few movies throughout this chapter. Like transitions that we saw in an earlier movie, all of our effects can be found in the Effects browser. It's located at the top right of your timeline.
