Apple Final Cut Pro X makes it easy for you to search for clips by name and even search criteria at the top right corner of the Media Browser. In this video, join Nick Harauz as he performs a few searches to find specific clips by name and even frame size in Final Cut Pro X.
- Final Cut makes it easy for us to search…for clips by name and even search criteria…at the top right-hand corner of the media browser.…Let's perform a few searches to find…specific clips based on name and even frame size.…In the last movie, we just looked at the…Library Smart collections that come when you…create a library within Final Cut Pro 10…and are then applied to any of the clips…that you import inside of a Final Cut Pro Event.…Let's take a look now at searching as well…as sifting through our clips.…
I want to come to the footage event.…And there's just a lot of clips that…you can see here.…And I want to find a particular clip.…I may want to call up one of my clips that…have the IMG name.…So just notice up here at the very top right…is a search dialogue box.…And I can just type in the word img.…And from that, you'll notice that my clips…that are of the aerialist are all labeled…this and they appear here in the footage event.…While all of the other items that were…populated in the footage event…have now disappeared.…
