- [Instructor] In this movie we're going to bring some trimming concepts all together from this chapter by focusing on something on the timeline called the precision editor. What this allows us to do is see visual information about our clips, right in the timeline, specifically a clip's handles and then be able to perform some trimming tasks in that view. How we get into the precision editor, currently I'm here in my chapter five underscore six project and I'm going to just kind of move in between my third and fourth clip. Here I am over the edit point. I'm just going to double click it. And this is the precision editor. This gray area that you're seeing to the right of the clip on the top happens to be the outgoing clip's handles, to the right. While, on the bottom, is your incoming clip and this gray area happens to be the handles of that clip on the left. Another way of being able to visualize this... Let me actually double click this little gray mark to get out of the precision…
