Want to add notes and do a little bit of pre-editing in Apple Final Cut Pro X? You can. Final Cut Pro X allows you to get up and running with clips after import quickly. In this video, Nick Harauz shows how files are structured inside your events and how you can add notes to clips in Final Cut Pro X.
- Final Cut Pro allows us to get up and running…with clips after import quickly.…Let's see how our files are structured inside our events…and how we can add notes to clips.…So I'm still here in my Final Cut Pro X import library,…and we're going to talk about pre-editing and adding notes.…Whenever I work on a project, whether small or big,…I like to get familiar with the material right away.…And if this is the first time that you're looking…at all of this material, I want to encourage you,…in this workspace that we set up in the last movie,…to start to play around with this footage.…
So what you can do is you can select a clip,…and one of my most favorite shortcuts…is just to press the question mark key.…And this just gives you a sense…for what's happening in a particular shot.…Again, you can do that with any of the clips…or graphics that we brought in.…You can press the question mark…and just become familiar with all of the assets…that we're using in a project.…Another thing that I like to do…specifically with clips is add notes to them.…
