Performing a basic color grade

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to look at creating a basic color grade on a few images within our Chapter 11_6 project. So, I've got a few clips here in the timeline. We're going to look to grade these. We're going to expand the contrast as well as adjust the color subtly, and maybe boost the saturation in a few areas of our image. In order to get setup for this, I would recommend bringing up your video scopes. You can do that in a few ways. Under the viewer, you want to show your Video Scopes. The current scope I have is made for contrast adjustments, and that is under your Video Scope menu, you want to go to RGB Overlay, Waveform. And let's also strip it of color by going to the View menu and choosing Monochrome. Just for now I'm also going to just bring up how visible these traces are by adjusting this brightness slider right here. Great. So, I see that there's not a lot of deep shadows in this part of the image, but I would really like to get some deeper shadows here…
