- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro 10 Weekly, this is Jeff. Even though we're talking about Pair Kerning, about two items, Nick's not here. I'm going to give you an insight about how to make your text everywhere look a little bit better by talking about text in pairs and Kerning the space in between them. I just want to take a moment and call out the difference between Tracking and Kerning. I want to talk about how to identify the problem, how to see it and then I want to show you how to do it from the keyboard rather than through the switch, using command option left and right brackets. So here I'm in Final Cut Pro, I'm going to hit the letter X to mark the clip. I'm going to go up to the Edit menu, connect title, basic title. Because I've hit the letter X it's put that title perfectly on screen. Let's go ahead here, let's hide our browser. With this selected I'm going to take this text. I'm going to make it way bigger.
