Options for animating Illustrator files

- in After Effects we have the ability to animate an Illustrator file and its individual layers like Photoshop files. Let's explore some additional options available for any vector we bring in to After Effects. So in the last movie we saw how we could import a Photoshop file and play with its individual layers and we can do the same thing with Illustrator. Right now I have my Chapter 4.10 Composition opened and the Illustrator file we brought in earlier at least the composition containing each of the individual layers. I can't see it right now because the text is black but I'm going to turn on my transparency grid so you guys can see that better. What I want to do right now is I want to just scale up this lovely vector image and you'll see as I scale that up it's looking not so much like a beautiful vector file. The trick to this is to collapse transformations in After Effects so first of all we need to do it at the comp level here by clicking on there and jumping into the composition…
