Moving and trimming clips in the timeline

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to look at moving our clips around in Final Cut Pro X's timeline, as well as performing some basic trimming operations in order to remove unwanted content from the beginning and end of certain clips that are contained within this Chapter 4_6 Project. So first off, in looking at this project that can be found under your projects event folder, if you're following along with the exercise files, we want to take this section of three kinds of chocolate, these three clips, and move them earlier in the project, just after the chocolate recipe CU shot. In order to do this, we're going to select these three clips. One way of doing that is to click on a gray area, and draw out a rectangular marquee. We'll then select one of these clips, and just start to drag it to the left, and notice what happens in the timeline. As you move in between clips, they'll move out of the way, and ripple down the timeline for you, making it really easy for you to keep the…
