Moving media between projects

- [Instructor] Final Cut's library gives us a really intelligent way to move media between two different projects. Let's see how it works. Final Cut X has some great ability for media management with possibly the easiest interface I've ever seen. I've been working linked the entire time in this library and I can click on the library itself and over on the inspector I can can look at the storage locations here. I can modify them and say maybe I'd like the motion content in my library, or maybe I want the media in a folder on my drive. Once I do that the media's in the wrong spot. All I have to do is hit Consolidate. If I hit Consolidate and the media is linked, if I tell it to be in the library it'll copy it to the library. If it's in the library and I say consolidate and I tell it to put the storage outside, it'll copy it out of the library. It's almost too easy to do. Really sophisticated.
