Morphing jump cuts in Avid Media Composer

- In this movie, we'll take a look at Avid's solution for morphing shots together. The tried and true transition effect, Fluid Morph. All right, so again, we use the Fluid Morph transition effect to seamlessly join two shots together, usually talking head interview shots, when we can't or don't want to cover up our jump cuts with B-roll. So I'm gonna play this for you, and you can see that there will be two jump cuts. - The biggest challenge is getting the client to understand the letter press process. You don't give a printer a file on a Monday and they have everything back to you on Wednesday. It's a process. And it's an art form. It's, you know, the artwork isn't just the design, but it's the piece that comes off the press at the end. - Okay, so let's go ahead and apply Fluid Morph. We go to our Effect palette, and the Illusion effect category, and FluidMorph. Notice that it's not a green dot effect, so we will need to render it.
