Keeping your projects organized
- There's a lot to the Motion interface and there's a lot of layers that can exist in a Motion graphic project. Keeping your head above water is the key from the beginning and the recipe is to stay organized. Let's look at ways we can stay organized in Motion and on our operating system so that we establish healthy work flow habits. So I'm starting off from the last movie where we simply imported a clip from our Send to Motion AE folder. And here I have a project that's 1920 by 1080 at at 23976 frames per second grate and here's my clip. And the first thing I'll tell you right away is this Untitled project is a no-go. So one thing I recommend to keep organized is always to name your project. So we'll simply press command S to name that default project and choose to save that on our system. I'll head to my desktop, create a new folder, which I'll entitle Motion Projects. And then next, for the name, Toronto Timelapse. So now that my project is saved, I can look at a couple different…
