- Hi welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Nick and Jeff's on vacation this week. In the mean time we're going to talk about the final Cut Pro update that just happened a few weeks ago for 10.4.6. It mostly fixed a lot of bugs, but there was one really important component, which is the checking of incompatible media for future OS updates of Mojave. We're going to cover this week, is looking at this and the existing Quick Time framework. We're going to see how we can find more info on new features and supported formats and then how we can check for incompatible media and then convert this incompatible media, so that we'll be able to see it, in our future versions of Mojave. Let's get to it. First of all, this is part of a bigger move, from 32 bit technology over to 64 bit and one thing about the current Quick Time version, is there is a quick time 7 framework built inside, which allows you to see Quick Time 7 formats.
