How to sync dual audio such as DSLR footage
- [Voiceover] It's really common nowadays to record separately from your camera to do dual sync audio. Final Cut does a great job merging those clips. Let's see how. I'd like to show you this clip here under the sync keyword. I'm just going to hit a shift z. I've got high quality audio here that was shot with a good microphone. I've got the camera audio here as the sync clip. And what I want to do is I want to marry the two of these together. I want this clip's video, this clip's audio. Final Cut can do all that built in. I'm going to lasso that to show you. I'm going to right click and say synchronize clips. I believe that's also under the clip menu. What do I want to call it? Well I'm going to call it clean audio sync. What event do I want it in? Do I want to use the audio for synchronization? Yup, I do. If not, you can choose in points or out points. And I'm going to disable the original clip's information. If I wanted to here, I've got custom settings for what that should set up…
