How everyday editing works
- [Instructor] Let's explore how Everyday Editing works in Final Cut 10. To talk quickly about the basics of Everyday Editing, override, insert, that sort of thing, I've switched to variation on the very first project. Where I happen to have already some prebuilt sequences, I'm going to create my own, and I'm going to do it for the Tahoe material. So I'm going to say file, new project since this is going to be for the Tahoe event. I'm going to create an event Tahoe, and I'm going to call this first edit. I'm going to dial into the Tahoe footage. There's all my clips. I'd like to see just the clips, so I'm going to just roll that open and take a look here at Tahoe, and that just has my video clips. It's still sorted as format, as QuickTime Movie is kind. I'll show you that here, but we're now ready to make our first couple edits. So I'm going to just take the first shot, and I'm going to click and drag, and I'm going to take about four or five seconds. I'm just going to drag it right…
