- [Nick] Hi, welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Nick, and Jeff's not here this week. This week we're going to talk about Frame.io and client collaboration in FCPX. What does that actually mean? So Frame.io is a service that allows you to share your projects or even share your video with your clients, or with your team, and through that, you can basically collaborate with your team environment, for potentially people who are using Final Cut with basically your clients to get feedback, and you can take that feedback and bring that back into Final Cut. So how exactly does this work? So this week, we're actually going to cover downloading the Frame.io app, and this then allows us to then install two types of shares for our clips. So these are H.264 proxy files, so we can upload certain files really quickly, and then there's the source files that we might want to distribute for VFX workflow.
