If you have accidentally spelled someone’s name wrong through a series of titles, Apple Final Cut Pro X has a built-in feature that allows you to find and replace multiple instances of a word or phrase at once. Nick Harauz walks you through how to find and replace multiple instances of title text from the edit menu in Final Cut Pro X.
- If you've accidentally spelled someone's name wrong…through a series of titles, Final Cut has a built-in feature…that allows you to find and replace multiple instances…of a word or phrase at once.…Let's see how we can work with this from the Edit menu.…So I'm in here in my Chapter 1.8 project.…And from the last movie if you followed along,…we have two pieces of credit text.…We've got a slate here at the beginning of our project.…We've got some scrolling text here at the end.…And I've just realized, you know what?…I would really like to have my middle name…in the end credits,…as well as I'd like to change the actual name…of the aerial segments.…
I'm going to say aerial segment in Toronto.…So let's make these changes.…And there's an easy way to make changes…to multiple pieces of text…that might exist throughout your project,…and that is to go to the Edit menu…with your project selected,…and under that we're going to head all the way to the bottom…and go to Find and Replace Title Text.…So the first thing I'm going to do here…
