Exporting an XML
- Sometimes when working in video editing, you need to supply your Final Cut Pro 10 project to someone working in an entirely different application. And this is where XMLs come in handy. Every single release Final Cut updates the XML to include new features, and this concludes data and information that would then be seen in the other editor and save time so that you don't have to necessarily recreate all of the effects and transitions that you did in your native editor. So I have my 13_11 project opened here in the timeline and you may note that we've worked with quite a few projects during this essential training course. What I'm going to do is click on this downward arrow here, next to the Chapter 13 project, and actually choose to close all of the other timelines that were previously open. Now only this 13_11 one is open and I've refreshed the project history for everything else. Now to export this project as an XML,…
