Exploring the retime editor
- Final Cut Pro X offers an incredible amount of options for working with speed in post. The options for controlling speed can all be found under the retime editor. In this movie, we'll become familiar with the basic options that are available. So, I'm here in my Chapter 4.1 project that you can find in your Chapter Four folder, in your Projects Event that's included in this Final Cut Pro X library if you have a premium subscription. What we want to do is just see some of the options here for changing speed or speed of our clips here in Final Cut. So, all of these options happen to be available under a retime menu, and if I select my clip in the timeline either by clicking on it or pressing C with my playhead above it, we could head to this retime or to see our clip retiming options all from here. So, if I click on this button, we can see here that there's a number of various categories available for changing the speed of our clip. Most of the ones that you see here at the very top…
