Exploring the Command Editor window

The Command Editor is what controls all the commands or shortcuts we have used so far in this course. Knowing where it is and how we can change and add shortcuts can speed up our workflow even further. So I'm here in my 6.1 Keyword Collection with my winery project open up here in the timeline, and what I want to do is go to the Final Cut Pro menu, look under Commands, and customize them. Even that has a keyboard shortcut. That's Option+Command+K. Now I'll choose to customize my keyboard shortcut, and really this is just a little bit of an overview of how we can get familiar with some of those commands right away before we manipulate that in a few other movies. So here, I'll search for one of the keyboard shortcuts that we've already used. I'm going to just type in the word "Append", and you'll see that at the bottom of the list is my Append To Storyline, which is activated by the E key.
