- [Nick] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Nick and Jeff's not here this week. We're going to take a look at exploring 3D type options and reflections and that's right with the help of Apple Motion. Some of the things we're looking at today include expanding the possibilities of 3D text that's inside of Final Cut by just being inside of Motion. And we're going to look at what's a wingding. It's just a cool way of us to be able to get these shapes as well as just objects which we can use for logos. And with that, we're going to set up a 3D logo with materials. We're actually going to create a floor with a texture and additional materials, change a couple of the parameters and then cheat a reflection of our logo casting on the floor. The first part of this can't be done inside of Final Cut because reflections are unique to Motion. So I will be demonstrating inside of Motion. So let's hop inside of Final Cut Pro X first.
