Working with metadata, or data about data, is one of the foundations for how you work with assets. Besides using different Metadata views you can also edit them and even create your own. In this video, Nick Harauz demonstrates how you can add specific built in information to a Metadata view of your choice.
- Besides using different metadata views,…you can also edit them and even create your own.…Let's see how we can add specific built-in…information to a metadata view of our choice.…In the last movie, we saw how we could switch between…our different metadata views.…We start with the basic, but have several to choose from.…And in this movie, we're going to see how we can take…a metadata view such as Basic, and add more additional data…that we can access right here from this panel.…So with the Basic metadata view selected,…let's first of all, all select the same clip together.…
I'm going to head over to the Footage event.…Got a bunch of material here.…But let's do a search for IMG, which will bring…up our aerial footage, and select any one…of the aerial clips that show up…after you've done the search for IMG,…we can see what's listed in our Basic metadata view.…And from the Basic metadata, we're going to edit it,…and we're going to edit that metadata view,…and it's going to show us a dialog box,…and any property that's currently showing right now…
