Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly, my name is Jeff, you know Nick, and we're going to talk about EditReady. This is just this phenomenal tool that solves a certain set of problems. And if you run into these sort of problems, this is this little $50 piece that just helps the glue to make everything move smart. If you don't have these problems it still may be a nice addition to your workflow. It's from a company called Divergent Media. They also make another great tool called ScopeBox, which I'm a huge fan of. And in this past year, we've seen ProRes RAW, we've also seen Blackmagic RAW. And this was one of the most recent uses, I came across a client who had got the Blackmagic camera, was going to cut in Final Cut, and discovered it just wouldn't go into Final Cut. And while there are other tools, including DaVinci Resolve that will convert it, there are a couple nice things that I really liked here about using EditReady for it.
