- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly. I'm Jeff Greenberg. No Nick this week. We're going to talk about easing animations, and particularly, how improve and refine your animations. To do so, I'm going to take a look at how Final Cut X handles linear and smooth keyframes, which are also known as ease in and ease out. I'm going to show you how using the timeline animation allows you to have greater sense of control. We're going to go ahead, and we're going to see how single parameter elements versus dual parameter elements work. And last, we're going to sit back and see how to actually make that ease happen. So here in my Final Cut timeline, I happen to have an element that fades up and unblurs over time, with some movement.
