Duplicating and renaming a keyboard

- Before we add new keyboard shortcuts, it's important to duplicate a keyboard so we don't overwrite our existing one. Regardless, Final Cut Pro X will always prompt us to duplicate a keyboard before closing the command editor in order to avoid making unnecessary changes. Let's see how this is done. So, I'm in my 6.2 keyword collection. I've got my project double clicked on the timeline. But what I'm really interested in is the Final Cut Pro Commands Customized. Again, we can do that with Option-Command-K to reveal it. So, right here at the top left hand corner you can see I'm using my default keyboard. If I want to make changes to it, what I recommend is to duplicate it. And what we can do is duplicate it from this menu. So we see here where it says Default. I'll click on it, and at the very top is an option to duplicate your keyboard right off the ground. So I could go up to Duplicate my existing default keyboard, and instead of leaving this as Copy of Default, I'll call this My…
