Cutting down clips quickly with trim start/end (Tops and Tails)

- For me, when I string out clips on a timeline, I really want to be able to cut off those tops and tails. Final Cut does this really brilliantly. Let's take a look. So as I start to talk about cutting down clips quickly with tops and tails, I've just duplicated my original library here and I've removed a whole bunch of the other projects just to make it cleaner and I've double clicked this quick cut so it's visible, and for this I'm really not needed as much of my browser, so I'm just going to hide that. Let's make my timeline just a little bit larger so we can see this. Oh, that's right. I can't make it any larger on my screen. I'll hit a Shift + Z. I want to show you the way a lot of people work, and then I want to show you a smarter way to work. I've thrown down a whole bunch of clips here. I would grab my B, blade tool, I would cut this, switch back from my arrow, hit the delete key. Neat part about the delete key is it'll close that gap automatically. Undo, I don't need that. A…
