Creating vignettes in Premiere Pro
- In this movie, we're gonna take a look at a couple of techniques to create vignettes in Premiere Pro. All right, so I have my sequence here, just some B roll shots over music, and I'd like to start by adding a subtle, dark vignette around the frame. Just something to focus the viewer's attention on the contents of the footage. Now, there are several ways to do this, and I'm gonna start by going over a pretty basic one. I'm gonna come down to Create New Item, and choose Color Matte, and it sizes it correctly for my video project. I'll say OK, and I need to pick a color, and by default, it's on black, which is what I want. I'll say OK, and I'll just call this vignette, and let's go ahead and drag this up on V2, and I'll select it, and we'll go ahead and go to Effect Controls.
