Creating a video fade-in and fade-out
- [Instructor] In this movie we're going to take a look at adjusting the opacity of a clip inside of Final Cut Pro 10. I'm here in my chapter six underscore four project. You can find this in your project's event area of the Final Cut Pro essentials library and we're going to play around with adjusting the opacity of some of our clips. So, I'm going to actually head to the end of this project where we have my last shot here. In order to adjust opacity one way is to select the clip and head to your inspector; so I'll use the short cut command four to open it with the clip selected. Notice that my play head is now also over that clip so I'm able to see adjustments that I make in real time as I adjust my image. Now just above the transform settings we're just looking at, happens to be some opacity controls. Here is where you can adjust the opacity of a clip. We could even animate opacity so that we can create a fade-out and if we had multiple clips we could also choose to blend them…
